The curriculum is grounded in the Duluth Model and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), covering the dynamics and cycle of domestic violence, power and control patterns, healthy communication and relationship skills, conflict de-escalation techniques, personal accountability and responsibility, safety planning, and building respectful relationships. These are the core competencies that Florida judges, probation departments, and family courts require.
