Schroeder Counseling offers live online domestic violence classes for Honolulu, Hawaii residents. The classes run on live, interactive Zoom sessions led by Jennifer Schroeder, M.S., CADC. They address the root causes of domestic violence through education and accountability.
The curriculum is built on the Duluth Model and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). It covers the dynamics and cycle of domestic violence and patterns of power and control. You build healthy communication and relationship skills. You learn to de-escalate conflict and take personal responsibility. You also work on safety planning and respectful relationships.
Your class may have been ordered by a criminal or family court in Honolulu, or come from a protective order, plea agreement, or probation condition in Honolulu County.
