About Our Illinois Anger Management Program
Online anger management classes for Illinois court, probation, and personal requirements. Join live Zoom sessions led by Jennifer Schroeder, M.S., CADC. Choose 4, 8, 12, 16, 26, or 52 hours. Your signed certificate is issued the day you complete them. Acceptance is up to your court or probation officer, so confirm before you book.
What you’ll learn
Schroeder Counseling offers anger management classes online to Illinois residents. You join live, interactive Zoom sessions led by Jennifer Schroeder, M.S., CADC. You learn to spot emotional triggers and control impulses. You practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques and conflict resolution. You also build stress management, healthy communication, and relapse prevention skills.
If a court ordered it
You may be court-ordered to take an anger management class in Illinois. It might be a condition of probation, sentencing, or a plea agreement. It could come from a family court ruling or a child protective services (CPS) requirement. The class comes in 4, 8, 12, 16, 26, or 52-hour lengths. Select the number of hours listed in your court order, probation instructions, employer notice, or referral paperwork. If your hours are unclear, call (734) 834-6934 before you book.
Your certificate
Your signed certificate is issued the same day after you complete all required sessions and your attendance is verified. Each certificate lists your full legal name, total hours completed, and dates of attendance. It also includes a curriculum description, the counselor's credentials, and verification details. On request, we send program information and verification straight to your judge, probation officer, or attorney at no additional charge.
Live, not recorded
Our online anger management classes are not pre-recorded videos. Every session is a live, interactive Zoom meeting, and your attendance is verified. You work directly with your counselor in real time. You ask questions, join the discussion, and get personalized feedback. If your order says the class must be in person, check with your court or probation officer before you book.
For Illinois courts
If your order comes from a court in Illinois, such as Cook County Circuit Court, DuPage County Circuit Court, or Lake County Circuit Court, you can take this class online from home. Each court and judge sets its own rules, so confirm with your court or probation officer that a live online class fits your order. We can send program details to the court on request.
Anywhere in Illinois
We serve clients in Chicago, Aurora, Naperville, Rockford, and Springfield, spanning Cook County, DuPage County, Winnebago County, and Sangamon County, and every other community in Illinois. Every session runs live over Zoom. So your city and how rural your county is do not affect your access or how fast you get your certificate.

What clients say
Real Google reviews from Schroeder Counseling clients, word for word.
- Five stars.
“Jennifer is a genuine person who understands what the individuals in her class are going through. She helps you realize that what you were doing wasn’t working, and it took something to get you to address it. In a difficult process her class was a real blessing.”
Chauncey H.Google Review - Five stars.
“I had to see Jennifer for court and it was a fantastic experience. She seems to really care and she has a great sense of humor.”
Noah D.Google Review - Five stars.
“She has a way of guiding you to see things you may not have been able to recognize on your own, and then helping you understand how to actually move forward—not just talk about it. … If you’re looking for someone who is insightful, compassionate, and truly invested in your progress, I can’t recommend Jennifer highly enough.”

Common Questions & Answers
Everything you need to know before enrolling. Can't find your answer? Call us.
Many courts and probation departments allow live online classes, but in Illinois the decision belongs to your judge, probation officer, or the agency that ordered the class, and requirements vary by court and by order. Before you book, confirm the required hours and that a live online class is allowed. We can send program information straight to your court, probation officer, or attorney on request.
You can sign up online and book your first session right away. Join live Zoom sessions from anywhere in Illinois. Pick the program length listed in your court order (4, 8, 12, 16, 26, or 52 hours). A 4-hour class is done in one live session. Longer programs start with a 4-hour live intake, then live 1-hour sessions — up to 5 a week — so an 8-hour program can be done in about a week and a 52-hour program in about 10 weeks.
It depends on your case. The judge, probation officer, or agency that ordered the class sets the number of hours, and orders in Illinois vary. Classes come in 4, 8, 12, 16, 26, or 52-hour lengths. Pick the number your paperwork lists, or call (734) 834-6934 if it's unclear.
Yes. Your signed certificate is issued the same day after you complete all required sessions and your attendance is verified. It lists your full name, program hours, dates of attendance, and curriculum description. It also shows our counselor's credentials and details your court or probation officer can use to verify it with us.
Many courts and probation departments allow live online classes in place of in-person classes, but your Illinois judge or probation officer makes that call. Our classes run live over Zoom, led by Jennifer Schroeder, M.S., CADC. You take part in real time, and your attendance is verified. This is not a self-paced video course. If your order says in person only, call us at (734) 834-6934 before you book.
Schroeder Counseling keeps anger management programs affordable. Prices start at $100 for a 4-hour class. The cost scales with the hours on your order. We think court-mandated education should be within reach for all Illinois residents. There are no hidden fees, no registration costs, and no surprise charges.
We serve clients across Illinois, including Chicago, Aurora, Naperville, Rockford, and Springfield, and every other city and town. Classes run live over Zoom, not in a physical classroom. So people in small towns and rural counties get the same access as people in Illinois's largest cities. You also get the same scheduling options, and your certificate is issued the day you complete your hours.
