Your order sets the hours
Anger management is measured in hours, and your court order or probation paperwork names the number. Book exactly that many. Schroeder Counseling’s anger management class comes in 4, 8, 12, 16, 26 and 52 hours. How many weeks it takes depends on how the class is scheduled and how often you attend.
How long each program takes
Here is each program length, its price, and the fewest weeks it can take:
- 4 hours ($100): One 4-hour session
- 8 hours ($175): 4-hr intake + 4 one-hour sessions · as little as 1 week
- 12 hours ($250): 4-hr intake + 8 one-hour sessions · as little as 2 weeks
- 16 hours ($325): 4-hr intake + 12 one-hour sessions · as little as 3 weeks
- 26 hours ($525): 4-hr intake + 22 one-hour sessions · as little as 5 weeks
- 52 hours ($1,050): 4-hr intake + 48 one-hour sessions · as little as 10 weeks
Attending less often takes longer.
How the sessions work
Every class is live on Zoom with Jennifer Schroeder, M.S., CADC. The shortest program is a single live class. Longer programs start with a 4-hour live intake. After that, you book live one-hour sessions from your client portal, up to 5 a week, each on a day after your intake.
Attendance is verified at every session, and your signed letter of completion is emailed to you the day you finish your required hours, with a certificate ID anyone can check at schroedercounseling.com/verify.
If you have a deadline
Start early, and look at the class times before you book. If your deadline is close, call (734) 834-6934 before booking and we’ll tell you your earliest completion date.
The moment your booking is paid, we email you a Proof of Enrollment letter, so your probation officer can see you’ve started while you work through your hours.
If your order says weeks, not hours
Some orders ask for a number of weeks, such as 26 or 52 weeks, instead of hours. That can be a different requirement, such as a batterer intervention program. See how many weeks a 26- or 52-hour class takes before you book.
